Live Stream Screening: Yeats Summer School Opening 2026

Taking place in the National Library of Ireland's Joly Theatre, join us for a live performance of some of Yeats' most beloved poems by musician and singer Enda Reilly from 5.45pm before tuning in to the opening proceedings of the Yeats Summer School 2026 in Sligo at 6:30pm. 

With a welcome from both Director of the Yeats Society Susan O'Keeffe and Honorary President of the Yeats Society & NLI Director Dr Audrey Whitty, the evening will include a performance of an original poem written for the occasion by the society's poet in residence Annemarie NíChurreáin and an address on the theme of The Presence of Yeats by acclaimed playwright, poet and academic Frank McGuinness. 

Enda Reilly is a Dublin-born singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Michigan. His work brings together original songs, traditional Irish music, the Irish language and storytelling, sharing Ireland’s culture with audiences across the United States at festivals, libraries and cultural centres. Winner of the IMRO Christy Hennessy Songwriting Competition, Enda co-wrote the No.1 Irish hit All Along the Wild Atlantic Way with Aoife Scott. He has also set poems by W.B. Yeats to music, sharing his interpretations across the United States and as far afield as Tokyo and India.
