Podcaster In Residence

The National Library of Ireland, in partnership with The Arts Council, is proud to launch a new Podcaster-In-Residence initiative for this year.
As part of the residency (2025-2026), a compelling series of podcast episodes will be produced and made available on Soundcloud.
Award-winning radio producer and podcaster Zoë Comyns will delve into the National Library of Ireland’s rich and diverse collections, exploring how writers draw inspiration from archival materials to create new work, through essays, soundscapes, and spoken word performances.
The residency is generously funded by the Arts Council.
Director of the NLI, Dr Audrey Whitty, said:
“We are delighted to announce the appointment of the National Library of Ireland’s inaugural Podcaster In Residence, Zoë Comyns.
Drawing on Ireland’s global reputation as a nation of storytellers, and our deep-rooted auditory traditions, we look forward to following Zoë’s journey through our collections."
The podcast series will launch on Culture Night at the National Library of Ireland.
