Enjoy coffee, tunes and iconic Live Aid memories this autumn at the NPA in Temple Bar.

Join Hewan on the following Saturdays: 18 Oct, 1 Nov and 15 Nov at the National Photographic Archive for a cup of Ethiopian coffee and DJ set.

Enjoy your coffee while exploring the new Live Aid exhibition, a vivid journey through the colour, energy and emotion of the 1985 concerts in London and Philadelphia.

Hewan’s set moves from jazz to reggae to the many sounds of Africa, focussing on traditional and modern Ethiopian music.

Free admission, drop-in (arrive early if you want to be guaranteed a coffee)

With thanks to the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport for their ongoing support.

Hewan Mulugeta

Hewan Mulugeta is a Dublin-based DJ originally from Ethiopia. Raised in the heart of the country’s rich musical culture, she brings deep knowledge and passion to every one of her distinctive sets. Drawing primarily from the golden era of modern Ethiopian music, and the irresistible grooves of the 1960s and ’70s, she weaves in a vibrant mix of African sounds, creating a dynamic, genre-spanning experience that never fails to ignite the dance floor.
