Third Level | Introduction to Research in the National Library of Ireland
The talk will introduce the NLI’s varied collections and online sources from newspapers, political cartoons, letters, diaries, photographs, and maps which bring to life Irish social, cultural, political, and economic history over the last millennium.
Your class will learn how to search the NLI’s catalogue, how to get a reader’s ticket, and how to order material.
This talk is suitable for third level students history students, with the option to customise the talk to suit the class's focus in line with the curriculum. The online talk is approximately 30 to 45 minutes in length, but this can be adjusted to accommodate your class requirements.
