Join us on Teams to discuss this month's poetry collection, 'Death of a Naturalist', by Seamus Heaney

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the publication of Seamus Heaney's seminal work, this month's book club will focus on his most cherished work where he movingly describes his journey 'from innocence to experience 'and from his rural upbringings to the urban world of Belfast.

With presentations of special manuscripts and letters from our own collection, join us to discuss some of Heaney's most beloved poems.

This book club is for everyone, you don't need to be a poetry expert!

There will be an opportunity to read our favourite poems from this collection, chat about themes and inspirations and ask questions about anything we didn't understand.

If our team can be of any assistance, please contact us at heaneyexhibition@nli.ie
