In December 1995, Seamus Heaney would be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature "for works of lyrical beauty and ethical depth, which exalt everyday miracles and the living past." This book club join us in discussing the lecture he gave when receiving his prize in Sweden, 'Crediting Poetry.'
This book club is for everyone, you don't need to be a poetry expert!
There will be an opportunity to read our favourite quotes from this speech, chat about themes and inspirations and ask questions about anything we didn't understand.
