A printed page featuring the poem “Mint” by Seamus Heaney, surrounded by botanical-style leaf prints. The leaves are dark, detailed, and textured, resembling mint leaves pressed and inked onto the page.

'...liberated in that yard'

Join us at Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again Saturday 15th November at 2pm for a relaxing, creative workshop that blends poetry and printmaking. Using simple lino printing techniques and natural materials such as herbs and flowers, you’ll learn to create beautiful, textured artworks inspired by the natural world.

We’ll take our cue from Seamus Heaney’s evocative references to plants and flowers, especially his poem “Mint,” which invites us to notice the overlooked — the small, fragrant things that grow quietly by the roadside — and to rediscover their quiet significance in our lives.
