However, it should be noted that there are a number of collections that cannot be made available to researchers at present. Our Own Place Collection
An archive prepared in 1996, of over 600 photographs and text, reflecting contemporary life in Ireland.

Lawrence Photographic Project 1990/1991.
A collection created in 1991, replicating 1,000 Lawrence Collection photographs, to record the changing landscapes of Ireland.

Cardall Collection
This collection contains 5000 negatives from the Cardall postcard firm; the images date from the 1940’s – 1960’s.

Clarke Collection
This is a relatively small collection of photographs by JJ Clarke, mainly of Dublin in the period 1897 to 1904.

Clonbrock Collection
A collection of 3,500 glass plates spanning the years 1860 – 1930, it is an excellent pictorial record of the life of a landed family.

Eason Collection
A collection of 4,000 glass plate negatives created for Eason and Sons Postcard Company between 1900 – 1940.

Keogh Collection
A collection of 300 photographs from the Keogh Brothers Studio, Dublin from the period 1915 – 1930, includes excellent coverage of the political figures involved in the 1916 Rising.

Independent Newspapers (Ireland) Collection
This is a collection of 4.3 million negatives from the Irish Independent newspaper archive dating from 1912 to 1997.

Morgan Collection
This is a collection of aerial photographs of Ireland that were taken by Captain Morgan in the mid 1950s.

Poole Collection
A collection of 65,000 portraits and topographical images from the Poole Studio, a commercial studio based in Waterford City between 1884 – 1954.
