The National Library has just completed a major digitisation project on archives related to the seven signatories of the 1916 Proclamation. A selection of this fascinating content features in the exhibition Signatories, in our Main Hall on Kildare Street.

Visitors will be introduced to the lives of the seven men who signed the Proclamation through a selection of original photographs and documents. Signatories allows everyone to learn more about these men, and the women who worked alongside them. The display also features a focus on the staff of the NLI in 1916, and reveals how they were caught up in the year's events.
