Revealing History at the National Library of Ireland

The National Library has digitised tens of thousands of items that tell the story of the years from 1913 - 1923, with funding from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media.

Now, with the first strand of our 'Revealing History' initiative, we are highlighting the stories of four individuals who were central to the events of 1922 in Ireland, demonstrating how the National Library's collections can illuminate the lives of so many.

Watch our short videos on Kathleen Clarke, Arthur Griffith, Hanna Sheehy-Skeffington and Austin Stack, and see how easy it is to search our digital collections for yourself.
