Heritage Week at the National Library

There's so much going on all over the country for Heritage Week, and the National Library is delighted to be playing our part.

The theme for 2018 is Making Connections through Sharing Stories - and we have many that we're looking forward to sharing. We have lunchtime and evening talks, community-led tours, and Irish language activities - and of course all our exhibitions and reading rooms are open and free as always.

NLI staff members  will discuss how we preserve online stories, how our conservators care for our national heritage, how our Flickr community turned detective and found the stories behind the images in the Photo Detectives exhibition and how the Seamus Heaney archive became the Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again exhibition.
