Panel Discussion: Reflecting on the History of Irish Childhood and Youth

Research on the History of Irish Childhood and Youth has come a long way in a short space of time, crossing disciplinary boundaries to forge a burgeoning new field of study.
To mark the launch of Constructions of the Irish Child in the Independence Period, 1910-1940 (Palgrave Macmillan) join us for a timely discussion on the development and future direction of the field moderated by Dr. Marnie Hay, with contributions from Dr. Sarah-Anne Buckley (NUIG), Dr. Mary Hatfield (UCD), Professor James Kelly (DCU), Dr. Anne Markey (DCU) and Dr. Julie Anne Stevens (DCU).
