Covid-19: Using the National Library’s Onsite Services

We are delighted to announce that the National Library will re-open on Monday 10 May at 10am.

During a visit, you will see protective measures including  screens, capacity monitors, signage and sanitisation stations across our buildings. Under government guidelines, members of the public who can must wear a face covering in the Library.

Please follow public health advice, and don't come in to the Library if you’re isolating or feeling unwell. If you do feel unwell when you visit, ask a member of staff to assist.

Reading Services

Our reading rooms will open again on Monday 17 May at 10am. We will begin taking bookings from Monday 10 May.
