This spring, the National Library of Ireland continues celebrating Live Aid with a new season of vibrant events.

The exhibition at the National Photographic Archive, Temple Bar, showcases striking photographs from the Band Aid Trust Archive and captures the scale and emotion of that day.

On 13 July 1985, music created a moment of extraordinary collective action across continents, bringing together 1.6 billion viewers. The spring programme is inspired by gathering around music and shared experience. Some events offer quiet reflection, while others bring us back to the energy of the dancefloor. But all of them show how music and sound can bring people together and remind us of what’s possible when we unite.

All events take place at the National Photographic Archive, Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin, D02 WF85.
