National Library of Ireland
NLI began archiving the web in 2007 and since 2011 has preserved 3,500+ Irish websites of national importance including government and public sector sites, those of cultural, civic, political, social, local and regional significance. The library’s unparalleled record of the Irish language is also growing in digital form through the NLI’s web archiving programme.
This growing archive of sites and thousands of hosted publications is openly available through the NLI Web Archive portal. NLI collaborates with the Internet Archive, peer national libraries and archives and other key organisations working together to preserve the web including the International Internet Preservation Consortium (IIPC) and the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC).
