Collection relating to the families of Lennox (dukes of Richmond), Fitzgerald (dukes of Leinster), and Campbell (Pamela Fitzgerald, daughter of Lord Edward married Sir Guy Campbell). The Lennox and Fitzgerald material consists of correspondence devoted to family matters, political affairs, the 1798 Rebellion, Lord Edward's imprisonment and death and the Act of Attainder. The Campbell material consists of personal correspondence of Pamela, Lady Campbell, and papers deriving from Sir Guy Campbell's position as officer commanding in the Athlone district, 1842-1848.
