Historical Case Studies

These six documents-based case studies, developed in association with the National Council for Curriculum & Assessment (NCCA), are the outcome of a year-long National Library Studentship to develop resource materials to support teachers in the revised Leaving Certificate History Syllabus. The studentship was jointly funded by the NLI and NCCA. The research and writing of the materials was carried out by Dr Brian Kirby supported by a steering committee comprising representatives of NLI, Dr Noel Kissane and Mr Gerry Lyne, a representative of the NCCA, Mr John Dredge, and Dr Ciaran Brady from Trinity College Dublin.
