This extensive collection traces the changing landscape of Ireland and Dublin in particular, over three centuries, with many of the works acquired as part of the Joly Gift. It includes collections of drawings by 18th century antiquaries and artists Gabriel Beranger, Austin Cooper, Jonathan Fisher and Francis and Daniel Grose. It also covers original works by 19th century Irish artists CM Campbell (née Nairn), Mary Herbert, WF Wakeman and TJ Westropp as well as 20th century drawings including a large country wide collection by Liam C. Martin.

Topographical prints include works by James Malton, James Ford, Francis Jukes, Thomas Milton, Edward Radclyffe, and those after artists Joseph Tudor, Thomas Sautell Roberts and JJ Barralet, together with modern topographical works by Brian Coughlan and Brian Lalor.
