NLI Society Christmas Event 2009: Felix Larkin will speak about the Shemus cartoons in the Freeman's Journal, 1920-24, at the Society's Christmas event. A question and answer session will follow the talk, and the event will be preceded by a reception and book launch in the Library's main hall.
The Hunt for Eliza Lynch: Professor Ronan Fanning will address the Society at 7pm in the Seminar Room. His talk is titled "The Hunt for Eliza Lynch". A question and answer session will follow the talk.
The Chief of Staff's report on the Defence Forces, 1940 to 1949: Michael Kennedy will address the Society at 7pm in the Seminar Room. His talk is on the "The Chief of Staff's report on the Defence Forces, 1940-49". A question and answer session will follow the talk.
