St. Sepulchre’s Press Archive

The St. Sepulchre’s Press was a hand press founded in 1964 by Ms. M.P. (Paul) Pollard and housed within the Archbishop of Dublin’s Liberty of St. Sepulchre. Between 1964 and 1992 the press published 65 items. Many major literary names appear among the authors, including, Austin Clarke, Seamus Heaney, Brendan Kennelly, Thomas Kinsella and Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin. Many of the items were published in broadside format featuring attractive woodcuts as illustrations.

In 2001 Ms. M.P. (Paul) Pollard, donated a complete set of the publications of the St. Sepulchre’s Press to the National Library.
