Harry Clarke Collection
The Harry Clarke Collection was purchased by the Library in 2003. Ephemera includes advertising cards, flyers and receipts from Joshua Clarke & Sons, invitations and advertisements from the Harry Clarke Studios, Harry Clarke designed memorial cards, letterhead stationery from Harry Clarke Stained Glass Limited and bookplates and other pieces of graphic design.

Taylor 1798 Printings
A collection of photographic copies of 44 items, printed ca. 1798 by Christopher Taylor in County Wexford. The focus of the material is the period of the 1798 Rebellion, with particular emphasis on County Wexford.
Niall Murphy Postcard Collection
This collection of approximately 1,600 postcards is dated 1904, the year in which James Joyce's Ulysses is set. Many of the postcards were posted in Dublin and the surrounding area. Two hundred and fifty two of these postcards are detailed in the book A Bloomsday Postcard by Niall Murphy (Lilliput Press 2004) which is available from the NLI Shop.

Cigarette cards were among the first items of ephemera to be produced specifically for collecting and were an important promotional device for cigarette companies. The most significant collection of cigarette cards in the Ephemera Department is the Little/MacLeod collection. Comprising some 29 albums, this collections covers topics such as travel and transport, flags and emblems, nature, broadcasting, sport, military and war.
