Tall Tales & Deadly Drawings: Stories for Boys & Girls at the NLI
Ireland is a country of stories and storytellers. Over the years, the stories that have been written down have made their home on the shelves of the National Library. In Tall Tales and Deadly Drawings, children from 8 to 80 will find some of the books they loved to read – last week or long ago – and meet books that they have yet to enjoy.
Come on a journey through the magical world of children’s stories, leave your memories of your favourite story in the Open Book, start a new story at the Inspiration Station - and see how many characters have escaped from the exhibition and turned up throughout the Library in the most unexpected places!
The exhibition is based in the Main Hall of the Library, and runs throughout 2011.
