  • Map Library, Trinity College Dublin
    Largest collection of printed maps in Ireland, which includes maps published by the Ordnance Surveys of Ireland, Britain & Northern Ireland and also by other official and commercial publishers.
  • National Archives of Ireland
    Repository for administrative records of the OSI and those for the earliest OS mapping of the country at the scale of six inches to the mile (1:10560) including ca. 7500 fair plans (the final manuscript drawings before engraving) and proof impressions for 14 counties. Also held are manuscript town plans, for many smaller towns and villages these are the only early large scale plans available as only those for the larger towns were eventually published.
  • Valuation Office
    The Valuation Office holds Irish rateable valuation records and lists of property occupiers from the mid 1800s to the present day, together with an archive of books and maps of Griffith's Valuations in the 1850s. Griffiths Valuation maps are now available to view as scanned images in the Valuation Office, Irish Life Centre, Abbey Street Lower, Dublin 1.
