Access and Copying Facilities

Access

A reader's ticket is required to consult the periodicals collection. As some periodicals require binding, a delay can exist between the time an issue is received by the Library and the time it can be made available to the public. This is to ensure that the material in question is preserved for access by future generations of Library users.

The extensive nature of the collection necessitates that part of it is stored offsite so a 24 / 48 hour call may be necessary for non Irish material.

Copying Facilities

It is possible to get copies of most items in the collections, provided the material is in good condition and will not be damaged by copying and subject to the constraints and limitations of copyright law.

For information on pricing and to place an order, please see the Copying Services section of this website.
