National Library of Ireland Trust

Since its foundation in 1877, the National Library of Ireland has enjoyed great support in the form of financial and material donations, which have enabled us to become the world's leading repository for Ireland's history and heritage.

The National Library of Ireland Trust was established to facilitate the generosity of people who wish to endow the Library by financial donation or bequest. The Trust is an approved body within the meaning of section 484 of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 which, in effect, means that donations to the Trust are tax deductable, subject to certain conditions. Full details of conditions can be found on www.revenue.ie

For further information about the Trust, please contact Orla Sweeney by email or by phone at 01-6030244
