Fiona Ross leads the National Library's team in delivering on our mission:
To collect, preserve, promote and make accessible the documentary and intellectual record of the life of Ireland and to contribute to the provision of access to the larger universe of recorded knowledge.



Catherine FahyCatherine Fahy



Catherine Fahy has responsibility for developing research and collaborative projects, heads the preservation/conservation team, and oversees storage planning.




Denise KennedyDenise Kennedy



Denise Kennedy leads the HR team, with responsibility for HR policy, operations planning and development, and transformation.





Katherine McSharryKatherine McSharry



Katherine McSharry leads the team with responsibility for Public Services, including research and reference services, visitor facilites, learning and outreach activities, exhibitions and events, and website and new media development.




Mary NevilleMary Neville



Mary Neville heads the Library’s Finance Department, with responsibility for financial planning, management reporting, day-to-day financial control and ensuring that all finances are properly administered and monitored.



Colette O'FlahertyColette O'Flaherty



Colette O'Flaherty is Chief Herald of Ireland, and Keeper of Collections.




Geraldine WilsonGeraldine Wilson



Geraldine Wilson is head of Information Systems, with responsibility for delivering the Library's ICT strategy, and for developing ICT/technical services.
