Catherine Fahy is currently Acting Director and leads the National Library's Team in delivering on our mission: To collect, preserve, promote and make accessible the documentary and intellectual record of the life of Ireland and to contribute to the provision of access to the larger universe of recorded knowledge.
Catherine is also Keeper of Printed Collections. The Library's Printed Collections include books, newspapers, periodicals, prints and drawings, ephemera, printed maps and music.
Katherine McSharry leads the team with responsibility for Public Services, including research and reference services, visitor facilities, learning and outreach activities, exhibitions and events, and website and new media development.
Mary Neville heads the Library’s Finance Department, with responsibility for financial planning, management reporting, day-to-day financial control and ensuring that all finances are properly administered and monitored.
Colette O'Flaherty is Keeper of Archival Collections and Chief Herald of Ireland. The Library's Archival Collections include the Manuscripts, Photographs, and Born-Digital collections.
Ger Wilson is head of Digital Library & Information Systems, with responsibility for delivering the NLI's Digital Library strategy.
