Taking inspiration from the 2014 St. Patrick’s Festival Parade theme ‘Let’s Make History’, Dublin Doc Fest presents a curated programme of short documentaries, exploring the role of film as a document of our past, present and future histories. Taking place in the unique surroundings of the Reading Room in the National Library of Ireland, this special screening will feature films from both established and emerging filmmakers, including Sundance Film Festival winner ‘Irish Folk Furniture’ by Tony Donoghue and Danger: Overhead Powerlines by Mia Mullarkey.
Dublin Doc Fest is an exciting, new short documentary film festival, which aims to provide a new platform for short documentary film, and to place Dublin firmly on the map as an international destination for documentary film.
