34,000 digitised images now available to search on NLI online database

Following the completion of the latest phase of a major digitisation project by staff of the National Library of Ireland, the public can now search and view up to 34,000 historic photographic images of Ireland online, Fiona Ross, the Library's newly appointed Director, announced today.
