Celebrating Bloomsday and remembering Yeats this June
Bloomsday at the NLI
Join us on Monday, 16 June for a celebration of James Joyce:
Katie O'Kelly will perform her one-woman show, JOYCED! at 3pm and at 7pm. From 8 - 10pm, we will host an open evening when visitors can experience the beauitful reading room where James Joyce wrote and studied as a young man. Enjoy the sounds of a live harp trio performing the music of Joycean Dublin, and take a break and relax in the Joly Cafe.
We will also mark the birth of William Butler Yeats in June 1865 with a performance by Curlew Theatre Company on Wednesday June 11, and a lecture by Professor John Kelly on Friday June 20.
And we look forward to welcoming visitors to the award winning exhibition, Yeats: the life and work of William Butler Yeats which is open every day.
