National Library to host series of literary events in June

Celebrate WB Yeats' birthday and Bloomsday at the NLI

Join us as we mark WB Yeats’ birthday and Bloomsday next week.  Visit our special pop-up display of newly acquired letters from James Joyce to WB Yeats. They are part of an exceptional series discussing Joyce’s literary work including Exiles, Dubliners and Ulysses and also discussing Yeats’ work.  The letters, which span almost 24 years of correspondence and paint a picture of a unique literary friendship, will be on display for a limited time only - from Monday, 12 June to Saturday, 17 June.  Free admission, during library opening hours.
