Using the collections at the National Library of Ireland, the course will explore the events surrounding the 1916 Rising.  Manuscript material, newspapers, ephemera and the Library’s photographic collection will elucidate the subject for participants. The course will conclude with a field trip to the Pearse museum in St. Enda’s Park, Rathfarnham.

Eight Wednesdays 10, 17, 24, 31 October, 7, 14, 21, 28 November.
