 Readings from the Rising and beyond

Join us for a mid-summer’s day evening of poetry and music based on Niall MacMonagle’s anthology Windharp: poems of Ireland since 1916

Poets, Moya Cannon and Martin Dyar will read their poems from the Windharp anthology and will be joined by finalists from the Poetry Aloud competition, Kevin Boushel and the winner of the Intermediate category in 2015, Nuala Whittle. The evening will begin with poems from 1916 and will also include more recent poems reflecting Ireland in the years since the Rising,  accompanied by Denise Kelly, harpist and friends. Niall MacMonagle will introduce the readings.

 An enjoyable way to mark mid-summer's day!
