‘WB Yeats and Florence Farr: The Reluctant Muse’

A talk by Professor Anthony Roche, UCD School of English, Drama and Film. Join us for the evening of Yeats’s birthday where Professor Roche will discuss the relationship between Yeats and Farr, the speaking of his poetry to the playing of the psaltery, and their collaboration in the theatre.

The subject of the lecture, Florence Farr, also forms part of Joseph Hassett's Yeats and his Muses Exhibition at UCD, to which Anthony Roche is the literary consultant.

More about Anthony Roche

Anthony Roche was born and raised in Dublin.

He joined UCD in 1990 where he is currently Associate Professor in the School of English, Drama and Film.
