Irish Texts Society Breandán Ó Buachalla Memorial Lecture

Wednesday  22 March at 6.30pm
This year’s lecture will be given by Siobhán Fitzpatrick, Librarian, Royal Irish Academy.
Breandán Ó Buachalla (1936-2010) was a long-time member of the ITS Council and an authority on Gaelic poetry. The annual memorial lecture is held in the National Library of Ireland each year.

All welcome and booking is not required.

Siobhán Fitzpatrick is Librarian to the Royal Irish Academy.  She has co-edited several monographs on antiquarian and bibliographical themes and has written on science publication in Ireland and on aspects of the Academy’s manuscript and print collections.
Siobhán has served as President of the Library Association of Ireland and as Hon. General Secretary of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland.   She is the current chair of CONUL (the Consortium of National & University Libraries).
