Since the National Library was founded in August of 1877, it has been closely linked with Irish writing and Irish writers. In this talk, Head of Outreach Katherine McSharry and exhibition curator Professor Geraldine Higgins explore some of the writers who have loved this Library and contributed to it in so many ways, and offer a glimpse of forthcoming exhibitions that bring their stories to the world
