Peter Somerville-Large in conversation

The second event in this season's Library Late sees travel writer Peter Somerville-Large in conversation with Kay Sheehy on Wednesday 25 June at 8pm.

Peter Somerville-Large was born in Dublin in 1928. His first job in Afghanistan was followed by a spell of travel in Asia during the early fifties. Early travel books published were on Yemen, Iran and Afghanistan. More recent books include an account of following the march of O'Sullivan Beare and a bird's-eye journey around Ireland.
