Hi Chantal, What a really interesting project. Those old boxes contained buried treasure indeed. We owe such a debt of gratitude to those in bygone times who had the foresight to know what likely value such images would have in the future and the discipline to go about making collections of what are now priceless records of social history. I envy your involvement in such a project. Any time I become aware of such collections emerging I am reminded of the terrible loss of precious records which took place when the Four Courts and Custom House were destroyed by fire in the early 1920's. We must to all in our power to protect and preserve such irreplaceable artifacts like those upon which your project was based. Good luck with the remainder of the project.
